Who we are

Pingwell is run by Inteltree Ltd (company number 16119229), Rear Unit, 209 Hendon Way, London NW2 1JJ. You can contact us about privacy at terms@inteltree.co.uk.

If you got a text sent through Pingwell

The business that texted you decides who it texts and why, and is responsible for your details. We handle them on its behalf. To stop its texts, use the opt-out link in the text or reply STOP. For anything else about your details, contact that business.

What we collect about our customers

  • Account details: your name, email, phone number and password (stored hashed).
  • Business details: company name and number, and details from Companies House.
  • Billing details: plans, payments and invoices. Card details go straight to our payment provider; we never see them.
  • Security records: sign-ins, IP addresses and changes made to your account.
  • Anything you send us when you contact us for help.

Why we use it

  • To provide Pingwell under our contract with you.
  • To keep accounts secure and stop fraud and spam, in our legitimate interests.
  • To keep tax and accounting records, as the law requires.
  • To send service emails, such as sign-in links, receipts and low-balance alerts. We only send marketing emails if you've agreed to them, and you can stop them at any time.

Who we share it with

We use carefully chosen suppliers for hosting, storage, text delivery, payments and email. They only use your details to provide their service to us. Your details are stored and processed in the UK, the European Union and the United States.

Where details go outside the UK, we rely on UK adequacy regulations or the ICO's international data transfer agreement to protect them. We may also share details when the law requires it, for example with the police or regulators.

How long we keep it

  • Account, business and contact details: while your account is open, plus 90 days.
  • Records of texts sent: 2 years.
  • Billing records: 6 years, as tax law requires.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your details, or object to how we use them. Email terms@inteltree.co.uk. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
